IBA-Moscow Marked 5th Anniversary in St.Petersburg

Russia, St.Petersburg, 9 June / Trend corr. R.Agayev / On 7 June, the 5th opening anniversary of a branch of the International Bank of Azerbaijan-Moscow in Moscow was marked in St.Petersburg.

The ceremony was held in a Baku restaurant and was attended by Polad Bulbuloglu, Azerbaijani Ambassador in the Russian Federation, Kudsi Osmanov, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Russia, Azerbaijani MPs, representatives from St.Petersburg Administration, Board of directors of International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA), IBA-Moscow, city department of Russian Central Bank, as well as various representatives from the Azerbaijani community, Russian public and political, cultural and business circles.

IBA-Moscow is a daughter branch of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, which is the first bank with 100% Azerbaijani capital in the Russian Federation. The organization was established with the support of Azerbaijani government, and IBA is the personal founder of IBA-Moscow. IBA is country's leading financial institution and an important contributor to the development of national banking industry and national economy as it integrates into the world economy. IBA was founded in 1992 on the basis of the Azerbaijani republic department of the Foreign Economic Bank of SSSR.

The ceremony started with a rocking performance of the Baku pop and folklore group Jangi, headed by Mirjavad Jafarov, Azerbaijani honored artist. Furthermore, a film about the history of IBA-Moscow was also shown.

Larisa Lusta, winner of the Italian Music Fund premium and the best singer of Russian romance, as well as Sadi Sadiyev, a student of the State conservatory named Roma-Korsakov, Sevda Alakparzade, Azerbaijani honored artist and Alena Sviridova, Russian honored artist also participated in that ceremony.
