Azerbaijani Ganja City’s Bus Station Activities Stopped

Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 June / Trend corr. V.Mammadov / The activity of the bus station Shamkir, which belongs to Turan Express Ltd., has been stopped in the Ganja City of Azerbaijan.

The activity of bus station was stopped owing to the launch of a new transport station in the New Ganja. The new bus station belongs to MG Trans Ltd.

Ziraddin Hajiyev, the Executive Director of Turan Express, stated that the company was not informed that the bus stop activities were stopped.

According to the representatives of Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, the information that the bus station is transferred to another place was released several days ago. This process is being carried out with the support of the Transport Ministry and Executive Power of Ganja.

Buses departed from the bus station for Shamkir, Tovuz, Akstafa, Kazakh, Gadabay and Dashkasan. Daily, passenger transport makes up roughly 500 people. The new route to Baku is expected to be implemented from the new station.
