Uzbek People’s Nominal Income Rises by 1/3

Uzbekistan, Tashkent, 8 November / Trend corr. T.Zhukov / From January to September, Uzbek people's nominal income increased to15.779trln (more than $11.688bln), Trend correspondent reposted from Tashkent.

This figure is by 33.1% more as compared to the same period of 2007, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee told Trend . Expenditures and savings increased by 31.3% and made up 15.434trln within nine months, respectively (about $11.450bln).

From January to September in 2008, excess of income over expenses totaled 344.9bln (about $255mln). This figure amounted to 99.8bln (about $73.9mln) in the same period of 2007.

According to the State Statistics Committee, balance of people's income and expenses is characterized by following data from January to September in 2008. Salary and other income from enterprises (specific weight in people's total income - 33.4%), income from entrepreneurship, including sale of agricultural production, property (50.2%) and social transfers (16.4%).

Consumer expenses (73.9%), compulsory payments and fees (6.6%) prevail in total structure of expenses and savings. Savings in deposits, securities, including purchase of currency, amounted to 17.3% in this period.

A main part of people's income formed due to income from entrepreneurship, sale of agricultural production, property (50.2% of all income) and increased by 24.5% as compared to Jan-Sept 2007, State Statistics Committee said.

A total of 33.4% fell on salaries and other income from enterprises, 16.4% of people's income -social transfers. Consumer expenses increased by 32.3%.  From January to September 2007, consumer expenses in total volume of income decreased from 74.3% by 73.9% in the same period of 2008.  Expenses on compulsory payments and fees increased by 18.4%.
