Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 11/ Trend /The creation of an international system of an independent investigation on the basis of the Intergovernmental Aircraft Committee (IAC) of the CIS was discussed at the 28th session of IAC in Baku, the Azerbaijani Airlines (AZAL) CJSC reported.
The session participants considered also the proposals of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and International Air Transport Association (IATA), which were recommended more attentively to relate to questions of an increase in the air navigational and airport collections, and also customs duties against the background of an increase in world fuel prices, threatening by global crisis air transportation and aviation industry.
At the session was also examined issues on providing of flight safety in the CIS states, including proposals on state support and stabilization of the activity of airlines under the conditions of global economic crisis
The corrections to the certificate requirements related equipment of aerodromes and air routes and norms of flight aircrafts of transport category were approved. The corrections take into account the change of ICAO standards and experience of certification.
At the session was agree on the plan of
realization of ICAO- IAC project in 2009, including conducting workshops for
flight safety, organized together with Airbus and Boeing.
Intergovernmental Aviation Committee is founded on the basis of the intergovernmental "Agreement on civil aviation and use of airspace" signed on Dec. 30 1991. Given by the agreement IAC is determined by the executing agency of 12 states of the former union in the region of civil aviation and using the airspace.
The current participants of the agreement are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belorussia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
