President Barack Obama's plan to tackle the US housing crisis will help up to 9 million families, it has been revealed, BBC reported.
The plan will aim to provide refinancing to 4 to 5 million "responsible homeowners". A $75bn (£53bn)"homeowner stability initiative" will also be introduced, aiming to help reduce monthly payments to a further 3 to 4 million people.
President Obama is due to reveal the plan in full when he gives a speech at a high school in Arizona later.
