Five-day trainings of famous U.S loan specialist having 24-year work experience Jane Berish were held this week in head office of Bank of Azerbaijan, the bank said.
Loan specialists of the bank participate in these trainings. Trainings are held on the following topics: Analyses and forecast of cash in small and medium business, Monthly forecast of cash for small and medium business, Use of coefficients and connection with financial reports, Calculation of short-term assets cost, Forecast of cash: analyses and tendencies; impact analyses for changes.
Jane Berish's trainings are conducted within USAID project dedicated to development of small and medium entrepreneurship in the country. The agreement concerning participation of Bank of Azerbaijan in the project was reached during recent meeting of chairman of bank Khayal Sharifzadeh and USAID Baku's office head Paul Davis. Bank of Azerbaijan became one of small local banks having grant. Chemonics International Inc. renders technical support to the bank on the basis on this grant.
Technical support is being conducted in several stages within a year. It includes trainings for loan specialists of Bank of Azerbaijan we mentioned above, rendering of consultation services in development of new banking standards of loaning, optimization of existing and development of new products.
Participation of Bank of Azerbaijan in these projects confirms adherence of policy of institutional and innovation development of the bank. Increase of professional skills of staff to render services to clients at top level play significant role.
