One of the major insurance companies of Azerbaijan Az Sigorta carried out seven major payments in April-May, the article published in a specialist magazine of the company said.
In this period, the company's largest payment was 12,300 manats on traffic accident, which damaged the insured car of Mercedes-Benz brand. The second payment was made in the amount of 10,290 manats on accident with insurance coverage in the amount of 32,400 manats.
The third payment was made in the amount of 3,310 manats due to traffic accidents, with insurance coverage of 5,760 manats.
The company has carried out payment worth 2,470 manats due to fire, with a 83,330-manat insurance coverage, 2,053 manats - flooding facility (115,000 manat), 2,009 manats - flooding (25,000 manat), as well as 1,320 manats due to traffic accidents, with insurance coverage of 30,000 manat.
Az Sigorta insurance operates on the market since November 2006. At present the company has eight branches, as well as some 40 regional offices in the country's regions. Az Sigorta offers 28 kinds of insurance services, three of which are mandatory.
In January-April, Az Sigorta collected premiums worth 3.87 million manat, with 1.34 million of payments, the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry reported.
On June 29, the official exchange rate is 0.8041 manat to $1.
