One of huge insurance companies of Azerbaijan MBASK postponed an extraordinary meeting of the shareholders intended to discuss restructuring the company management, originally scheduled for Aug. 10, to Sep.10, the company announced.
Restructuring is held within the frames of anti-crisis measures in 2009. The extraordinary meeting will discuss modification of the composition of directors, restructuring of assets and increase of the authorized capital, as well as confirm the wage of the chairman of the board of directors,.
The insurance company MBASK is operating in insurance market of Azerbaijan from 1992 and provides 29 types of insurance service, with four obligatory. The authorized capital of the company comprises 2 million manats. Some 30 percent of the shares of MBASK belong to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) from 2005.
