The Azerbaijani 2010 public budget will issue 10 million manat to the regional branch of OJSC Agroleasing Company - Agroservis, Agriculture Minister, Ismat Abbasov said.
"These funds will be allocated to improve Agroservis's activity and form the level of services, appropriate to modern standards," said the minister.
He said local experts of Agroservis usually help farmers to update spare parts of technical equipment. In the future, Azerbaijan will produce small spare parts of agricultural equipment.
The minister said that the 2007 public budget allocated 10 million manat to Agroservis, and the presidential reserve fund issued five million manat to the company two months ago, as well.
All these funds were directed to implement measures to improve service delivery in the country's regions, the minister said.
Abbasov said Agroservis also offers technical services to private owners of agricultural techniques.
Agroleasing OJSC has offices in the country's 55 regions. The company, which started its activities since 2005, put into operation 8,817 units of agricultural technology, including 745 - combines on grain harvest, 2,250 - tractors, 132 - excavator, 5,690 - different agricultural equipment.
