The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed roughly 350 kilogram of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry said.

The State Supervision Service on Consumer market at the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry removed roughly 350 kilogram of the expired products from retail sale points during the monitoring, the ministry said.

Monitoring carried out in the Nizami, Narimanov, Yasamal, Nasimi and Sabunchu districts of Baku, as well as in the Samukh and Khachmaz regions of Azerbaijan. The expired food products include sausages, confectionery products, vegetable oils, natural juices, beer, milk and milk products, mayonnaise, and more.

Protocols on administrative violations have been complied on one enterprise and 10 individuals.

Generally, after the Azerbaijani president's decree on amendments and supplements to the Code of Administrative Violations, dated May 17, 47 enterprises have been fined worth 181,000 manats and 447 individuals - 667,000 manats.

Monitoring continues.

On Oct. 1, the official exchange rate is 0.8034 manat to $1.
