Azerbaijan imported about 1.55 million tons of cement and cement clinkers in January-October or 8.3 percent less compared to the same period of 2008, the State Statistical Committee said.
Cement and cement clinkers were imported to the amount of $60 million within this period or 9.5 percent less compared to the same period of 2008.
Cement and cement clinkers were imported to the amount of 559,200 tons within this period or 20.7 percent less compared to the same period of 2008. Cement clinkers were imported to the amount of $22 million or 1.6 percent less compared to the same period of 2008.
Cement was imported to the amount of 994,500 tons within this period or 0.5percent less compared to the same period of 2008. Cement was imported to the amount of $38.4 million within this period or 14.7 percent less compared to the same period of 2008.
