The Taxes Ministry of Azerbaijan is preparing to sign memorandums of cooperation with the tax administrations of Great Britain, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia and Hungary, "Vergiler" ("Taxes") official newspaper reported.
Today already a legal framework has been created for bilateral cooperation with the tax administrations of France, the Czech Republic and Estonia.
Over recent years, delegations from Ireland, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Czech Republic, Moldova, Austria, the Netherlands and Tajikistan visited Azerbaijan to discuss spheres of cooperation in tax. During the meetings, the guests got acquainted with the latest developments in tax administration - introduction of "single window", system of assessment of tax authorities, the principles of opening a single depository account of VAT, as well as exchange experience.
Today Azerbaijan continues expanding mutual cooperation with the tax authorities of the EU, the CIS, as well as the United States, Turkey, Singapore and other countries.
