Bazargan border exports up 38%

Some 29,000 tons of goods were exported from Bazargan border in the West Azarbaijan Province in the past 9 months.

The exported goods were worth $21.4 million which shows a 38 percent increase in comparison to the same period of previous year, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported.

Bazargan border's exports had a 16 percent decrease in the terms of volume in the mentioned period.

The exported products were mainly composed of oil products, constructional materials, plastic products, and pickles. The Central Asian and European countries were also the destinations.

Some 135,000 tons of goods worth $175 million have also been imported in the mentioned period from Bazargan border which shows 109 percent increase compared to previous year.
