Georgia's Economy Minister visits Bahrain

Georgian delegation headed by Economy Minister Zurab Pololikashvili is on an official visit to Bahrain.

"The main purpose of the visit is to deepen the economic relations between the two countries and draw more investments in Georgia," the Ministry of Economic Development said.

Georgia's Minister has already met with Bahrain's Minister of Finance and Economy, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammad Al-Khalifa. Earlier members of the Chamber of Commerce and representatives of large companies met.

In 2008, Bahrain was called the most developing financial center in the world. The country has well-developed transport infrastructure, communications, banking sector and tourism. More than 8 million tourists visit Bahrain every year.

Georgian delegation arrived in Bahrain with one-day visit on March 9.
