Belarusian Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister of Sergei Lastochkin mulled the question of Belarus's participation in projects on modernization of industrial enterprises in Turkmenistan during his Ashgabat visit.
The Belarusian delegation, which is on visit to Turkmenistan, included heads of state enterprises and the largest companies specializing in the construction industry. They conducted a series of meetings in a number of the Turkmen authorities, including the city administration, the ministries of construction, railway transport and industry and construction materials.
The sides reviewed the projects on creation of a modern road and transport infrastructure, as well as production and supply of modern construction equipment, the national Turkmenistan-4 television channel reported May 21.
Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov's first official visit to Minsk took place in January. Then, the sides signed intergovernmental agreements in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
