A new shopping center near the May 28 metro station in Baku will be commissioned this year, the Property Market Participants Public Organization said. The center will have an area of 60,000 square meters.
"The center will consist of seven floors, 20,000 square meters of building for trade, and 4,500 square meters for a hypermarket," the organization reported.
Five movie theaters will also operate in center. A parking place for 420 cars is being constructed.
The UK DTZ company is the project's author. The project was designed by UK specialist Chapman Taylor. Construction was carried out by SerbAz (Serbia-Azerbaijan).
A major business center is also being built in Baku on Yusif Safarov Street. The project was designed and is being implemented by the local ZQAN Holding.
