Loan agreements worth $780.7 million were signed with 19 countries-members within the 35th annual meeting of the Governing Council of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in Azerbaijan.
The agreements have been signed with Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Burkina Faso, Lebanon, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Pakistan, Suriname, Syria, Tajikistan, Uganda, Iran and Malaysia.
Azerbaijan was granted $45 million for the International Bank and 150 million euros to finance the project on building of the waste processing plant.
IDB's loan portfolio in Azerbaijan is $850 million in 40 projects.
