Azerbaijani State Caspian Sea Shipping Company transfers the dockyard, which is located in the village "Bailovo" in the zone of the new dry cargo port point, built in the village Zikh, the company head Aydin Bashirov said.
"About 25-30 percent of plant equipment and machinery have been already transferred. New equipment will be bought to repair ships," Bashirov said.
He said that construction of a new port point put into operation in mid-March this year, is a great achievement of the company. Construction of the port point was carried out over several years through the company's own funds.
Currently, the company has 80 vessels. Of the total volume of ships about 43 tankers and 37 cargo ships and ferries are on the balance of shipping.
