Employees of the First Territorial Administration of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents revealed the lack of documents on safety and quality of imported products in stores "New World Trading Centre", located in Yasamal and Sabail districts, a message said.
"The facts of breaches of the law were revealed during monitoring conducted in connection with an official appeal to the Office of the State Committee for State Control," the statement said.
Product labeling, without a certificate, does not correspond the current legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic.
New World Trading Centre was notified in connection with the detected shortcomings. According to the State Committee, re-inspection was held in the trade network in Yasamal district. A protocol was drawn up under Article 317.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences.
