The Baku Business Center hosted a meeting of representatives of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development with the delegation of Mexico, the Ministry of Economic Development said.
The meeting was attended by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov and businessmen.
Before the meeting the guests got familiarized with the exhibition of economic achievements of the country in the Baku Business Center.
Head of the Department of Coordination of Foreign Investment and Assistance of the Ministry of Economic Development Sahil Babayev, as well as head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Adil Mammadov provided information about the economy and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.
Babayev urged Mexican businessmen to take the advantage of favorable business environment created in Azerbaijan.
Executive director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) Afgan Isayev spoke about the activities of AIC and its ongoing projects.
Exchange of views on boosting trade and economic relations between the two countries, as well as participation of the Mexican investors in ongoing projects in Azerbaijan, was held during the meeting.
A film about Azerbaijan was demonstrated during the event.
