Twenty-seven local and foreign university students and graduates have completed an internship program at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the bank reported today.
Earlier the students were appointed to various CBA departments where they studied the bank's workflow and gained experience in dealing with assignments.
They studied in the departments on legal affairs, monetary policy, credit institution control, IT, market operations, financial management, internal auditing, and international relations and communications, as well as in the CBA Research and Development Center. The participants later recieved certificates based on feedback from their mentors.
During this period, 16 bachelors and 11 masters students from eight universities and one college in Canada, Sweden, Russia and the United States successfully complete the internship program.
