Minister: Irakli Ezugbaya will remain on post of general director of Georgian Railways

Georgian Railways General Director Irakli Ezugbaya will retain his post, Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia said on Thursday.
"Ezugbaya retains his position, and the railway continues to operate as usual," Kobalia said.
Previously, media reported that Ezugbaya was dismissed and he will be replaced by Imedi General Director, Ex -Economy Minister Giorgi Arveladze.
Ezugbaya has run Georgian Railways since October 2005. Previously, he served as the adviser to the Georgian prime minister and was responsible for the transport sector.
