Azerbaijani Travel Agencies Association prepares to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the Kazakh Tourism Association, the Azerbaijani Travel Agencies Association chairman Nahid Bagirov said.
"The memorandum will ensure cooperation between the two structures on the joint development of tourist potential of the countries," Bagirov said.
The Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation envisages further cooperation between the organizations, which will be based on the principles of observing the legislation in order to improve bilateral ties, information exchange and modern experience. It is supposed to arrange introductory tours, examination of new tourist routes, organizing presentations of new tourism products; involvement of interested companies and organizations of both countries in the cooperation, selection of companies and organizations with high-quality tourism products and services as authorized representative to receive and serve tourists.
The Azerbaijani Travel Agencies Association was created with the assistance of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture in January 2009, and in October 2010 Azerbaijani Hotel Association and the Azerbaijani Travel Agencies Association merged. The Tourism Association has 58 members.
