The revenues of the Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund amounted to 1765.7 million manat in 2010, or 164 million manat (10.2 percent) more compared to 2009, chairman of the State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslimov said at a board meeting.

The proceeds from payments on compulsory social insurance increased by 80 million manat (7.7 per cent) up to 1114.3 million manat compared to 2009.

The proceeds from payments on obligatory state insurance from non-budgetary organizations increased by 72.5 million manat (12.6 percent) up to 648.8 million manat in 2010. The income received from payments of physical entities increased by 8.7 percent, the owners of land - 58 percent in 2010.

The fund's expenses in 2010 increased by 89.7 million manat (5.4 percent) up to 1765.1 million manat compared to 2009.

"As a result of the increased economic activity, observed in 2010, the basic pension has been increased by 10 manat up to 85 manat since September 1, 2010", he said.

The decisions were made to automate payroll system of pensions and benefits, to create a system of corporate network of the fund, as well as to further intensify efforts in other directions.

The activity of local bodies of the fund for 2010 was analyzed. The decisions were made to take disciplinary actions in respect of employees who have committed mistakes in their work.
