The Azerbaijani National Confederation of Entrepreneurs intends to strengthen public control to reduce the number of checking entrepreneurs, chairman of the Confederation Mammad Musayev said at a press conference at the headquarters of the party "New Azerbaijan" on the results of Confederation in 2010 and plans for the current year.

"We want representatives of the confederation to present while checking entrepreneurs.

It will allow us to protect the rights of entrepreneurs and eliminate injustice," Musayev said.

Moreover, the confederation is negotiating with the International Finance Corporation and World Bank to assess the licensing system. Today there are 58 types of licenses in Azerbaijan.

"We have also studied the international experience in this area by the example of Germany, where not federal agencies, but public organizations are directly involved in the licensing process. We want to offer the use of this experience in Azerbaijan", he said.
