Head of Iran International Exhibitions Association said Saturday that by holding exclusive exhibitions in Turkmenistan, annual trade exchange level between the two countries has increased from current four billion to five billion dollars, IRNA reported.

Seyed Mohammad Seyedi added that Iran is located in the most important economic corridor in the Middle East, so its neighboring countries have turned into the most important target markets in the region.

He added that these countries have a noticeable share in the region economic development and now Iran has turned into the most important trade partner of Turkmenistan.

Seyedi continued that many of Iranian companies have experiences from past participation in Turkmenistan exhibitions, so they achieved their pre-determined goals in Iran's 5th exclusive exhibition in the country.

The official said that several sessions were held on the sidelines of the exhibition.

Iran's 5th exclusive exhibition in Turkmenistan started its work in the presence of Commerce Minister, Governor General of Khorasan Razavi province, Iran's Ambassador to Turkmenistan, directors and experts from Iran Trade Development Organization as well as Iranian companies in Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan.
