ADB allocates loan worth $500 million to Georgia

The Asian Development Bank will allocate a loan worth $500 million to Georgia. The Georgian Deputy Finance Minister Rusudan Kemularia briefed the members of the parliamentary committee with an agreement on this matter, which was submitted to the parliament for ratification.

The Asian Development Bank will allocate a loan worth $500 million to Georgia. The Georgian Deputy Finance Minister Rusudan Kemularia briefed the members of the parliamentary committee with an agreement on this matter, which was submitted to the parliament for ratification.

Under the agreement, the loan issued until 2019, will be used for the rehabilitation of water and sewerage systems in six cities: Marneuli, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Poti, Anaklia and Mestia.

Kemularia said that more jobs will be created with the beginning of rehabilitation work in the country.

The committee members supported the ratification of this agreement.
