In May, consumer prices and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan dropped by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month, the State Statistics Committee said.

In May, consumer prices and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan dropped by 0.4 percent compared to the previous month, the State Statistics Committee said.
During the month, price for food products fell by 0.9 percent.
In May there was a decline in prices for food products such as buckwheat, chicken, flour, rice, fresh fish, milk, sugar, butter, lemons, oranges, bananas, pears, plum, strawberries, cabbage, mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, lobby, carrots, garlic, onions and potatoes.

Last month, an increase was observed in prices for such food products, as semolina, lamb and beef, pasta, vegetable oil, apples, tangerines, chestnuts and cabbage.
