President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Belarus` Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich.
Azerbaijani President receives Belarus' Prime Minister

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Belarus` Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.

The Head of State said relationship between Azerbaijan and Belarus was developing successfully and dynamically. He noted Azerbaijan was interested in expansion of cooperation with Belarus in all spheres.

The Azerbaijani President pointed out good prospects exist for mutual investments and development of cooperation in economic sphere, particularly energy sector. The Head of State also underlined the necessity of exploring new areas of cooperation.

President Ilham Aliyev described the successful implementation of joint projects of Azerbaijan and Belarus in Ganja automobile plant as a good indicator of bilateral economic cooperation.

The Head of State noted Belarus was a friend of Azerbaijan, adding high-level relations had been established between all bodies of the two countries. President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that Prime Minister Myasnikovich`s visit to Azerbaijan would be important for boosting bilateral ties.

Prime Minister Myasnikovich extended President Alexander Lukashenko`s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader. He thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the joint projects being implemented between Azerbaijan and Belarus, particularly ones in Ganja automobile plant. Myasnikovich also recalled his participation in the opening of new branches of production in the plant.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the Prime Minister to pass on his greetings to President Alexander Lukashenko.
