Jordanian Industry and Trade Minister Hani al-Mulk has arrived in Georgia to take part in the Georgia-Jordanian business forum in Batumi.
The organizers are the Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry, the National Investment Agency and Adjara.
The forum was opened by Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia. She stressed the importance of cooperation between the business circles of both countries.
"We are interested in Jordanian investments," she said. "We we hope that these forums will allow our businessmen to establish direct contacts and business relations."
Georgian businessmen will be able to begin talks with potential partners within the forum.
The Jordanian delegation includes the heads of business associations, and three senators and businessmen, representing such sectors as home appliances, chocolate production, the Dead Sea cosmetics, agriculture, furniture, mineral water, and juices.
