Opportunities to develop Azerbaijan- France trade and economic relations will be discussed in Paris in late September.
The sixth meeting of the Azerbaijani-French intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation will be held in Paris on Sept. 23, Azerbaijani Ambassador Elchin Amirbekov told Trend today.
The Azerbaijani delegation will be headed by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov and French delegation will be headed by Secretary of State for Foreign Trade Pierre Lellouche, he said.
Based on the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the bilateral trade amounted to $ 2.2 billion in January-June 2011.
