The Azerbaijan Finance Ministry plans to complete automating the management control system of the Baku State Treasury Agency in October, Deputy Finance Minister Azer Bayramov told Trend on Friday.
"At present, nine of 11 districts in Baku have already passed to this system," Bayramov said.
He said that the country will fully pass to the new system next year.
The new system has been implemented by SAP. The automation process is being implemented within a couple of years.
The treasury automation is carried out within the program to improve the work of public organizations, and to supervise the implementation of the state budget. It will have a permanent access to the urgent financial information.
Full treasury automation will allow keeping records and conducting treasury operations in real time. The mechanism of budget funds spending will be strengthened. The implementation of budgetary operations will be accelerated. Their quality will improve. The Finance Ministry fully renews the central servers of the State Treasury.
The treasury automation will help to save budget funds and to eliminate facts of concealing the funds from the budget.
The implementation of mySAP ERP software solution will allow moving to international accounting principles and improving the tax-budgetary system.
