GDP growth made up 7.5 percent in Kazakhstan in 2011, Prime Minister Karim Massimov said.
"GDP grows reached 7.5 percent in Kazakhstan in 2011. GDP per capita was $11,300 in 2011", Massimov wrote on his microblog on Twitter.
Inflation rate in the country in 2011, according to Massimov, was 7.4 percent.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev ordered the Government in April to bring the level of GDP per capita to $15,000 by 2016. So, to reach this level, Kazakhstan's economy should rise at least by 7 percent per year.
