Karaganda pharmaceutical complex shareholders changed

The Kazakh "National Innovation Fund" sold its stake in the Karaganda pharmaceutical complex, which produces anti-cancer medicament, the information department of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade said today.

The Kazakh "National Innovation Fund" sold its stake in the Karaganda pharmaceutical complex, which produces anti-cancer medicament, the information department of the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Trade said today.
The share of the fund in the project fund was 33.3 percent. It was sold to an investor for 585 million tenge (about $4 million). The sum of the fund's investment in this company was 338.4 million tenge ($ 2.2 million).

The construction of the plant is fully completed. The production of the domestic anti-cancer medicament "Arglabin" was launched. The production capacity of the complex hits 2 million vials per year.

The fund obtained investment income in excess of 247 million tenge ($ 1.6 million), or 73.1 percent of the amount of investments.
