Kyrgyzstan, UAE mull intensification of economic cooperation

Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have discussed the intensification of economic, trade and investment cooperation at the meeting of Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Antimonopoly Policy Temir Sariyev with official delegation from UAE headed by the country's Minister's of Foreign Affairs assistant Khalid Ganim Al Gayt, government reported on Thursday.

Sariyev informed the delegation about investment climate of Kyrgyzstan as well as about the government's measures on further liberalization of economy and attraction of foreign investments.

Sariyev said the country develops a new draft document on decreasing of the number of controlling bodies.

Sariyev added that Kyrgyzstan lays hopes on Islam principles of banking development.

The UAE delegation expressed its readiness to cooperate with Kyrgyzstan mentioning warm friendship relations of the two countries.

The sides mentioned the need of initiating bilateral agreements on investment's protections as well as preventing double taxation.

UAE expressed its readiness to support Kyrgyz businessmen and consider Kyrgyzstan's proposals.
