Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed their interest in cooperation in the sphere of renewable energy within the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the Kyrgyz government reported on Friday.
The discussion between Kyrgyzstan and the UAE was held in a meeting of Kyrgyzstan's foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbayev with official delegation from UAE headed by the country's Minister's of Foreign Affairs assistant Khalid Ganim Al Gayt.
Ganim Al Gayt proposed Kyrgyzstan to establish a joint mechanism of cooperation between business circles of the two countries as well as in the spheres of education, culture.
The UAE delegation visited Kyrgyzstan from Feb. 8 to 10.
Besides Kazakbayev, the delegation held meetings with Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Antimonopoly Policy Temir Sariyev on other officials.
Kazakbayev said this visit will bring the relations between Kyrgyzstan and UAE o a new stage. He stressed the importance of political contacts and exchange of bilateral visits as well as strengthening the legal base between the two countries.
The Minister also proposed UAE to invest the country's capital into perspective spheres of Kyrgyz economy and promised to provide the country with favorable climate for this.
