The compulsory insurance bureau was established in Azerbaijan in December last year, in accordance with the requirements of the new law on "Mandatory types of insurance". It will ensure paying the compensation claims to the third parties affected as a result of the insurance cases in April this year.

"One of the bureau's important tasks is to ensure paying the compensation to the third parties whose health was damaged as a result of insurance claims," the bureau told Trend on Thursday.

The bureau will begin executing this item from the second decade of April. At present, the Bureau has been working in this direction.

The law regulates four types of compulsory insurance -- real estate, liability of owners of vehicles, passenger insurance and liability insurance while touching on real estate. Insurance companies started using the law since December 16, 2011.

The Azerbaijani State Insurance Commercial Company, Pasa Sıgorta, Atesgah Sıgorta, Ata Sıgorta, AXA MBASK, Xalq Sıgorta, Standard Insurance, AzSıgorta and Alfa Sıgorta are the members of the bureau.
