The large-scale construction will take place in near future in Ashgabat along Atamyrat Niyazov avenue, on the segment from Bitarap Turkmenistan prospect street till Gerogly street, local media reported on Saturday.
There will be constructed a number of administrative and social buildings, as well as high blocks housing complexes in the 12th stage of construction of the capital.
The construction work will be carried out by the Turkish companies such as Nata Inşaat Turizm Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş, Ilk Inşaat Taahhüt Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, 5M Inşaat Tekstil Ithalat Ihrajat Sanaýi Tijaret Limited Şirketi, Şahin Inşaat Gida Tekstil we Otomotiv Sanaýi we Ticaret Limited Şirketi, ERG Inşaat Taahhüt Sanaýi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, Tepe Türkmen Inşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş, Ekol Mühendislik Inşaat Mimarlik Dogalgaz Turz. Tiсaret ve Sanayi Ltd.Şti и Total Inşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi.
The State's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said at a recent session of the government, that "High quality, modern construction and finishing materials, which meet the highest standards, must be applied in the all newly-constructed buildings of the capital ."
Turkmenistan is located in a seismic zone and the ceremony dedicated to the National Day of Remembrance of victims of the devastating Ashgabat's earthquake in 1948, which killed hundreds of thousands of people, is annually held on October 6.
A new project includes the construction of office buildings of the State Bank of Turkmenistan, the Committee on valuable metals and precious stones, and the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, fourteen houses with high living conditions, two schools for 600 pupils, two kindergartens with capacity of 160 children and the building of underpasses in Ashgabat.
Turkish enterprises implement more than 1270 investment projects in Turkmenistan, including 1,200 projects worth over U.S. $ 15 billion and 26 projects worth more than 2 billion euros, as well as 26 projects worth over 56 billion manat.
