The joint venture Koc-UEM-Berhad-Gozde won the tender to privatize some roads and bridges in Turkey, TRT Haber channel reported on Monday.
The tender for the privatization took place on December 17. The joint venture won the tender by offering the largest amount - $ 5.7 billion.
The winner of the tender will exploit these facilities for 25 years.
Turkey has recently pursued a policy to liberalize the domestic market of the country. Several nuclear power stations, hydroelectric power stations, gas distribution networks were privatized. The agenda includes the privatization of the two state banks.
