Rural Construction Bank of Uzbekistan to increase authorized capital

"Qishloq Qurilish Bank" (CCB, Bank of rural construction) of Uzbekistan will increase its registered capital by 5.9 percent - up to 181.136 billion soums through capitalization of 2011 net income and increase of the par value by six sums - up to 108.5 soums , the bank said.

According to the report, at the end of last week the Center for Coordination and Control over Functioning of Securities registered the issue of shares for a total of 181.136 billion soums.

Total production of the prospectus is to be 1.669 billion of securities, including 1.66 billion ordinary, nine million preferred shares at 108.5 soum each.

Shares of the issue will be placed by private subscription among the shareholders in accordance with participation shares through conversion of old shares at 102.5 soums to new shares at 108.5 soums.

"Qishloq Qurilish bank" was established in March 2009 by order of the President of Uzbekistan on the basis of Gallabank as an open joint stock company.

The bank specializes in lending and banking services to individuals and legal entities in fulfilling their needs in the housing, communal and social spheres and in equipping rural communities under the state program of rural development.

The bank has 32 branches, 80 mini-banks, 79 savings banks and 71 exchange office and 17 international money transfer points. Customer base includes more than 60,000 enterprises, small and medium businesses.

Qishloq Qurilish bank is exempt from taxes on income and property till 2012 with a purposeful channeling of funds to increase the share of the Ministry of Finance in the authorized capital of the bank.
