Around 96.3 percent of the total amount of money transfered to Georgia falls to 11 major donor countries. The money transfers from there exceeded the amount of $1 million in February 2013.
According to the Georgian National Bank, around 90.1 percent of all money transfers fell to these 11 countries in February last year.
The amount of money transfers to Georgia amounted to $103.6 million in February of 2013
Money transfers from Russia amounted to $ 56 million, Greece - $13.6 million, Italy - $ 8.4 million, the U.S. - $5.4 million, Ukraine - $3 million, Turkey - $2.6 million, Spain - $1.9 million, Israel - $ 1.5 million, Great Britain - $1.4 million, Azerbaijan -$1.3 million and Germany - $1.3 million.
Around $10.8 million were transferred from Georgia abroad in February this year compared to $7.5 million in February 2012.
