The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has announced the winner of the tender for purchase of servers, other hardware and Oracle database management system which is a technical platform of the Real Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) and the Bulk Clearing Settlement System (BCSS).
According to the received information, consortium composed of the Colvir Software Solutions Ltd. (UK) and Azerbaijan's SINAM has become the tender's winner. Currently, preliminary works concerning the signing of contract between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Consortium are underway. It should be noted that Colvir Software Solutions Ltd. will participate in the project as the main contractor, and SINAM as a subcontractor, SINAM said today.
Under the terms of the tender, the companies will install new hardware and software for Oracle database management system in the Bank's Head Office in Baku and Backup Centre in Sumgait, and integrate it with the Real Time Gross Settlement System and the Bulk Clearing Settlement System.
