Kyrgyz, Chinese declarations, signed within Chinese president Xi Jinping's visit to Bishkek will open new opportunities in various areas, Tazabek quotes Kyrgyz Prime Minister Zhantoro Satibaldiyev on Wednesday as saying.
He believes that the sides should strengthen contacts between agencies of the two countries, including those managing trade, economy, humanitarian cooperation.
Satibaldiyev added that Kyrgyzstan and China should increase the trade turnover and optimize trade structure.
"A negative balance for Kyrgyzstan is observed in the bilateral trade turnover.[...] So we propose Kyrgyzstan to actively introduce its production of Chinese market," Jinping said.
He added that the countries should cooperate in the areas of agriculture and the export of agricultural production.
The sides also discussed energy issues at the meeting.
