Kazakhstan ups gold production in Jan.- Sep.

Kazakhstan increased raw, semi-finished gold and gold in power production in January-September 2013 by 6.7 percent to 31.124 tons compared to the same period of 2012, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to the Kazakh Statistics Agency.

Refined gold production increased by 9.3 percent to 16.854 tons in this period.

Raw, semi-finished silver and silver in power production rose by 4.9 percent to 732.815 tons, including 728.899 tons of refined silver (up 4.9 percent increase).

Refined raw, unalloyed copper production in January- September increased by 4.5 percent to 275,536 tons, raw zinc production decreased by 0.1 percent to 238,082 tons, raw lead production fell by 1.9 percent to 66,543 tons.
