The Indian company BHEL, specializing in the production of equipment for power plants of various types, has announced an international tender for the purchase of 156-millimeter cells - elements used in the manufacture of solar cells and panels, a message posted on the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation's (AZPROMO) official website on Tuesday said.
"Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the tender," the message said.
In January-August this year, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and India amounted to $778.81 million according to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan. Exports from Azerbaijan in this period amounted to $743.41 million. Goods worth $35.4 million were imported from India to Azerbaijan between January and August.
