Prices decreased by 0.4 per cent on Baku's building materials market in November compared to the previous month, the Property Market Participants organisation's report said on Monday.
They fell by an average 4.4 per cent compared to early 2013, while a decrease of 7.5 per cent was observed compared to the same period of 2012.
The share of domestic products in the total volume of construction materials amounted to 52.1 per cent.
The monitoring was conducted on 39 items and 92 types of building materials.
According to the report, prices on imported materials significantly declined. This is explained by the ongoing construction season and the large volume of imports. The prices on 18 items and 37 kinds of building materials including steel bars imported from Russia decreased. The price on steel reinforcement produced in Ukraine fell by 1.2 per cent (cost per ton decreased to 790 manat).
According to the report, the prices on 11 items of six types of building materials increased.
Roofing of domestic production is among them. Its price increased by 2.27 per cent in November 2013.
The official exchange rate is 0.7844 AZN/USD on Dec. 18.
