SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) presented its new corporate logo Sept.20 in Baku.
The new logo is based on the symbol of fire, consisting of three colors. The symbol of fire holds an important place in the history of Azerbaijan.
The colors of the new logo correspond to the colors of the national flag, which is considered important to represent Azerbaijan in the international arena as a modern and secure country.
The logo has been worked out considering that the SOCAR brand would attract attention and be easily recognizable.
Work on the use of the new logo on all enterprises and subdivisions of the State Oil Company both within the country and abroad will be completed within a year, the vice-president of SOCAR on the regime, the Human Resources and Information Technologies Khalik Mammadov said at the presentation.
