Zimbabwe is seeking to benefit from Iranian expertise to expand its small industries and industrial estates.
A memorandum of understanding was singed Sept. 28 in Tehran between Zimbabwe and Iran to boost cooperation in different industry sectors, Mehr news agency said.
Commenting on this, the Iranian Deputy Industry Minister Mohammad-Ali Abrishami said there are over 700 industrial states and areas in Iran.
He added that small industries account for 92 percent of total industrial units in the country.
The Zimbabwean side is keen on launching joint ventures with Iran in industrial and agricultural sectors.
