Iran's development in the spheres of economy and energy is in Turkey 's favor, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz said.
The minister said the expected lifting of sanctions imposed on Iran will affect the world oil prices and this is first of all beneficial for Ankara, Hurriyet newspaper reported August 5.
Iran is one of the most important countries for Turkey in the region, he added.
Iran and P5 +1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) reached a historic agreement on Iran 's nuclear program July 14.
The negotiations ended with adoption of a joint comprehensive action plan. If Iran carries out this plan, the economic and financial sanctions earlier imposed on it by the UN Security Council, the US and EU will be lifted.
