The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) simplified activation of 3D Secure service for cardholders.
3D-Secure protocol was developed by International payment systems to improve the security of Internet payments.
Before now to connect to the service the cardholder had to receive temporary codes, printed on the slip from the ATM and register them at the Azericard official website (www.azericard.com).
Now, after recent improvements, there is no necessity in that. 3D Secure Protocol activates automatically for all plastic cards connected to SMS Notification service. Therefore, clients of the IBA connected to SMS Notification service can benefit twice: receive notifications about all transactions on bankcard and get the maximum level of security of Internet payments.
SMS Notification service can be activated at any ATM of the bank.
